Wave Rider is an endless surfing game that challenges you to ride a surfboard or jet ski across fast-moving water filled with hazards and obstacles. Dodge every danger while collecting seashells and, more importantly, trying to survive for as long as possible without collisions. Your board can withstand one minor collision on each side, but a direct, hard crash ends the run immediately, so be careful! The game has Normal and Hard modes; pick one and start riding waves.
In Wave Rider, you are always on your surfboard, automatically moving forward and cannot be stopped. The endless water course is full of obstacles: trees, rocks, logs, trash, narrow gaps, moving animals, sudden changes, …
Use the A/D or left/right arrow keys to steer from side to side, and the W or up arrow key to jump. Smooth, well-timed steering is undoubtedly vital to keeping the ride going through countless hazards. Say no to sudden movements, as they can send you directly into another danger.
Seashells appear along the course. They serve as in-game currency for unlocking new boards and jet skis, so grab as many as you can. At the same time, pick up power-ups like Shield, Magnet,
2x Multiplier, Freeze, and Wrench, each with its own effect to support your run. For example, Wrenches help repair your damaged vehicle, while Freezers slow the board down by 25%.
Your score increases when you travel farther. Aim to cover extra distances every time you start a new run. If you’d like fresher runs and to improve your performance, use your seashells to shop for new, cool vehicles. Each surfboard and jet ski has its own attribute; learn their stats carefully and select ones that suit your playstyle.

Should I jump or steer around an obstacle?
It depends! Steering is often a better choice when there's plenty of open space. Still, jumping can help a lot when obstacles block your route and a safe landing is available. In even trickier situations, you will need to combine them both for safe navigation.
What's the best way to collect seashells safely?
Only take ones that fit into your route instead of making risky moves to grab 01 more seashell. You can also earn many more seashells by completing daily missions.
How to deal with a faster pace in Wave Rider?
Faster speed gives you less time to react. To survive longer, you have to master sharper timing and reflexes while trying to anticipate obstacles earlier and using smaller movements.
It’s time to set a new personal best and climb Wave Rider’s leaderboards. Let’s ride the waves like a pro!
